Speaking of Daniel, we’ve seen enough of his backstory referenced to realize he’s very shy, probably more insecure than he lets on, and doesn’t have a lot of good, close relationships with people he can trust.
She might have to take it slow to heal a bit before starting something up with him, or she might turn him down completely because she feels like she’s not worthy or that it’s too late for her or something along those lines. And now that she’s had time to reflect on these things as well as still feeling like she’d behind in life and not able to catch up in anything she was “supposed” to do, I’m very interested in how she responds to Daniel’s feelings since there’s a lot that she has to think about and process. Was she looking for a romance just because she felt like that’s what she is supposed to do and she was falling behind in everything else, or because she actually truly loved her ex, or a mix of both.

I’m growing more and more interested in her full backstory and everything that happened. Not that she’s uncomfortable with Daniel as a person or even so much his feelings towards her, per se, but with her feelings towards romance in general. I think it’s interesting just how uncomfortable Rose is with this change. Things very clearly changed between them with the last episode of the first season. (as well as keeping this post nice and short) )įirstly, we should talk about Rose and Daniel. Don’t know when, but I feel like, considering my love for this comic, another fanfiction is almost inevitable.Īs for my thoughts on this season! I will place them under the cut for spoiler reasons.
I do love Age Matters.and I probably will find myself writing another one at some point in time.
